Service Description
App Opener creates “open in app” short links for supported platforms. Functionality may depend on device, OS, app availability, platform rules, and deep-link support. We do not control target platforms and cannot guarantee that every link will open in the desired app on every device.
Eligibility
You must be 13 years or older to use the Service. If your local law sets a higher minimum age, follow that law.
Links, Permanence, and Ownership
- Links are permanent. We do not delete links on request.
- If you are the owner (you control the link via your Recut account), you can manage that link in Recut (for example: edit, disable, delete, set analytics visibility).
- If you want ownership transferred to your Recut account, email us. After we receive your request, we will ask you for the information we need to process the transfer.
- If you do not have a Recut account, the link is privately managed by Recut.
- We may disable or delete links that are harmful, suspicious, phishing, or abusive. You can appeal by email.
API Terms
- The API is provided “as is” for fair and lawful use.
- Do not overload, scrape, or attack the API. Follow any published rate limits or usage guidance.
- Host information: for API requests, we may collect and log host information and basic request metadata to prevent misuse and protect the Service. If we detect misuse or harmful activity, we may blacklist that host and block API access. You may appeal by email; after we receive your request, we may ask for more information to review and resolve the issue.
- We may change or suspend the API at any time.
Analytics Visibility
- You can set link analytics to public or private.
- Public: anyone with the analytics page can view the stats.
- Private: only you (and Recut for service operation) can view the stats.
Donations
- Donations are processed by Razorpay and PayPal under their terms.
- We do not receive or store your card or bank details.
- Any refunds or payment issues are handled under the payment provider’s policies.
