App Opener (https://appopener.recut.in) website and the App Opener Android app on Google Play (in.recut.appopener) are operated by App Opener. These Terms set the rules for using the App Opener website, Android app, and API (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Definitions
“We,” “our,” and “us” mean App Opener and the team that runs it. “Service” means the App Opener website, the App Opener Android app, the API, and related tools. “You” means the person using the Service. “Link” or “short link” means a URL created by App Opener using our custom URL shortening engine. “Owner” means a person who controls a link through an App Opener account.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service (including installing or using the Android app or creating an account), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the website, should uninstall the app, and should not use the API.
Service Description (Accounts, Free & Paid Plans)
App Opener creates “open in app” short links for supported platforms. You can use the website or the Android app to paste a long link and get a short “open in app” link built using our custom URL shortening engine. To manage links and view analytics, you must register for an App Opener account.
We offer both free tiers and paid subscription plans. How links behave can depend on:
- your device and operating system,
- whether the target app is installed or updated,
- platform rules and deep-link support, and
- network conditions and third-party changes.
We do not control target platforms or apps and cannot guarantee that every link will open in the desired app on every device or in every country.
Eligibility
You must be 13 years or older to use the Service. If your local law sets a higher minimum age, follow that law. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet the applicable age requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
Link Management, Ownership, and Reporting
Ownership & Management:
If you are the owner (you control the link via your App Opener account), you can manage that link as you want in your dashboard (for example: edit, disable, or delete it).
Transfers:
If you want ownership of a link transferred to another account, please email us. After we receive your request, we will ask you for the information we need to process the transfer.
Abuse & Deletion:
We may disable or delete links that are harmful, suspicious, phishing, or abusive without notice. You can appeal by email.
Report a Link:
If you find a malicious, spammy, or harmful link, let us know and we’ll investigate and take action promptly. We will review your request details. Please note: You must use your official email address for copyright reports. Submitting a report does not guarantee immediate removal — after verification, if the link is verified to be non-genuine, malicious, or in violation of our terms, we will remove it.
API Terms
The API is provided “as is” for fair and lawful use.
- Do not overload, scrape, or attack the API. Follow any published rate limits or usage guidance.
- For API requests, we collect and log your IP address to prevent misuse and protect the Service.
- If we detect misuse, abuse, or harmful activity, we may blacklist your host/IP and block API access. You may appeal by email; after we receive your request, we may ask for more information to review and resolve the issue.
- We may change, limit, or suspend the API at any time.
Analytics Visibility
Your link analytics are strictly private. Only you (and App Opener for service operation) can view the stats associated with your links through your secure dashboard.
Payments, Paid Plans, and No Refunds
App Opener offers paid subscription plans and accepts donations.
- Payments are processed securely by third-party providers, such as Razorpay and PayPal, under their respective terms of service.
- We do not receive or store your raw credit card or bank details.
- Strict No Refund Policy: All payments made to App Opener are final. We do not offer refunds, credits, or prorated billing under any circumstances. You are solely responsible for managing your subscriptions and canceling them before the next billing cycle if you no longer wish to use the paid features.
Ads, Affiliates, and Third-Party Content
The free tier of the Service (website and Android app) may be monetized by ads, affiliate links, and other third-party content.
Third-party providers (ad networks, affiliate programs, analytics, push providers, etc.) are responsible for their own services and content. Their terms and privacy policies apply to how they handle any data they receive.
We are not responsible for any damage caused by third-party content or actions (including physical, mental, or financial harm). We are responsible only for the content we publish on our own pages, app screens, and UI.
Some blog posts or informational content may be written by third parties. We may tag these posts to show they are third-party content.

- Do not attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or access controls.
- Do not reverse engineer or interfere with the normal operation of the website, app, or API.
You are entirely responsible for the content of the URLs you shorten, the media files you associate with your account, and where your links lead.
You must comply with all applicable laws, Google Play policies, and any platform rules that apply to the links and content you use with App Opener.
Availability and Changes
We may change, update, suspend, or stop any part of the Service at any time.
We may update supported platforms, deep-link formats, SDKs, and features in the website or app without notice.
