Question 1

How do I open a link directly in the app?

Accepted Answer

Paste your link into the App Opener above and create a new link. Share the new link instead of the original URL, and App Opener will try to open the destination in the supported app.

Question 2

Why does a link open in the browser instead of the app?

Accepted Answer

Some apps, browsers, and platforms handle links differently. App Opener gives you a link designed to try the supported app first while keeping the original web destination available.

Question 3

Can I open the exact video, post, product, or profile?

Accepted Answer

Yes, when that type of link is supported. Your App Opener link keeps the original destination, so people can be taken to the specific content you shared instead of just the app's home screen.

Question 4

What happens if the app isn't installed?

Accepted Answer

If the app isn't available on the device, the original web destination can still be opened when a web version is available. You don't need to create a separate link for it.

Question 5

Can I share the same App Opener link more than once?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Once you create an App Opener link, you can use the same link wherever you want to share that destination, including social media, messages, email, websites, and QR Codes.

Question 6

Can I track clicks on my App Opener link?

Accepted Answer

Yes. App Opener provides click data for your links, so you can check how much traffic your shared links receive from your dashboard.
