App Opener (https://appopener.recut.in) and the App Opener Android app on Google Play (in.recut.appopener) are operated by App Opener. This policy explains how to report copyright issues and how we handle them for both the website and the app.
Scope
App Opener (website and Android app) creates short links that redirect to content hosted on third-party sites and apps, and allows users to generate and store specific media files. We generally do not host the final target content of the links. For items we control, we act on copyright notices under this policy.
This policy applies to:
- Content we publish on the App Opener website or Android app,
- Short links we create or manage,
- Media files generated and stored on our secure storage systems,
- Any blog posts, articles, or media we host directly.
This policy does not apply to content hosted on third-party platforms that our links point to. For that content, you must contact the external platform hosting it.
If you are the copyright owner
If your copyrighted work appears on our site or app, is stored in our media storage, or is linked via our short link in a way you believe is infringing, email a takedown request to [email protected].
Please note: You must use your official corporate or professional email address for copyright reports to help us verify your identity.
After we receive your request, we will ask you for the information we need to process it so we can review it quickly. This typically includes:
- Your contact details (name, official email, phone, or postal address),
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed,
- The specific URL, link, or media file where the infringement appears,
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law,
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner, and
- Your electronic or physical signature.
What we do on valid notice
We review the request in good faith. Submitting a report does not guarantee immediate removal.
- If the notice appears valid and complete, we may disable or remove the short link, media file, or related content we control.
- Where appropriate, we will notify the App Opener account user associated with the link or media (if any).
- For content in the Android app or on our website, we may remove or replace it if we determine the notice is valid.
Counter notice
If your link or content was disabled and you believe this was a mistake or that you have the right to use the content, email [email protected]. After we receive your message, we may ask you for the information we need to review and, where appropriate, restore access.
Your counter notice should typically include:
- Your contact details,
- The URL, link, or media file that was disabled,
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the removal was a mistake or misidentification,
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India (unless local law requires otherwise), and
- Your electronic or physical signature.
We may forward your counter notice to the original complainant. After a reasonable period (typically 10–14 days), if we do not receive notice that the original complainant has filed for a court order, we may restore the link or content.
Repeat infringement
Where an App Opener account, host, or user repeatedly creates infringing links or uploads infringing media, we will limit, suspend, or permanently terminate link access, API access, app usage, or the account entirely.
Important limits
We cannot remove or alter content on third-party sites or apps. For removal at the source, you must contact the hosting platform or app developer.
For ads, affiliate items, or other third-party content shown on our pages or in the app, contact the provider directly in addition to notifying us.
App Opener is a tool service. We do not pre-screen every link or media file created by users. We act on valid notices promptly, but we cannot proactively monitor all content.

Platforms, apps, or brands referenced on this site or in the Android app are the property of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those platforms or brands. Any trademarks, service marks, or logos belong to their owners and are used here only to describe compatibility or supported destinations.
